Business Planning Course - with CWE

    Ready to take the plunge and write your business plan?  You can learn small business management skills, gain confidence in yourself, and build the plan for your business. In this 10-week course, you will: Assess the financial & market viability of your business concept Learn how to identify & market to customers Explore options for funding the start-up and ongoing costs of operating your business Build a network of fellow aspiring business owners that can support you in launching and growing your new enterprise Complete the business plan to guide you in the launch & growth of your new company. This course meets once a week for 10 weeks.  No business experience is necessary. The Working Lands Enterprise Initiative (WLEI) and governing board (WLEB) were created by the legislature in 2012 to stimulate economic development in the agricultural and forestry sectors. WLEI is a collaborative effort between the Agency of Agriculture, Food, and Markets, Department of Forest, Parks, and Recreation, and the Agency of Commerce and Community Development. WLEB, which finalizes all funding decisions, achieves this goal by making investments across businesses and service providers in critical leverage points which will have the highest return on investment. This initiative supports Vermont entrepreneurs by providing financial assistance to help innovate and grow their business while also creating jobs, building infrastructure, and promoting growth in economies and communities of Vermont’s working landscape.   View on CWE Website HERE
